What you'll need:
- Weight 5 or 6 white and yellow (optional) yarn
- 8mm hook
- stitch markers
- scissors
- needles to sew ends
This pattern is written in US terminology.
Rnd(s)= round(s)
sc= single crochet
inc= single crochet increase
dec= single crochet decrease (invisible decrease method)
MR= magic ring
A number in front of a stitch is how many you will do (example: 2sc= 2 single crochets in 2 separate stitches)
Repeat everything in the parentheses.
If there is a color listed, that is when you will do a color change. This part is only necessary for the yellow spot on the snowball if you are doing that one.
This pattern is worked in the round.

Rnd 2: inc in every st (12 sts)

Rnd 4: (yellow (inc, 2sc), white (inc, 2sc)) repeat (24 sts)
Rnd 5: white, sc, (yellow, 2sc), white, inc, 3sc, inc, 3sc, (yellow, inc), white, 3sc, inc, (yellow, 2sc), white, sc, inc, 3sc, inc (30 sts)
